Mü3 ‘Kakadu’ (1928)
The "Kakadu" was the first high performance glider designed by the young Akaflieger. It was ready for the 1928 Rhön competition. It was descibed as the ancestor to the famous glider "Fafnir" and "Austria" . The "Kakadu" , named after its designer Dr. August Kupper, was with its wingdesign, high aspectratio a signal where to go with future desines. It was the best glider even into the thirties and was used for research in the alps
