Mü5 ‘Wastl’ (1930)
The Akaflieg München designed this tailless glider in less than 3 months. It was soon knicknamed "The flying egg". It was a failure. Only jumps with a few seconds flyng time was achieved. It was finally destroyed. Egon Scheibe said afterwards that the only comfort they had was that other tailless designs ended up in the same way.
