Still was planned to take part in the Röhnwettbewerb  and so the group decided to build the SB 2 "Heinrich der Löwe." This monoplane with wing twisting was nevertheless the result of the first thesis in the field of gliding at the Technical University
The SB 2 "Henry the Lion" was a glider monoplane. A twisting of the wings has already been used here in order to improve the lift distribution and thus achieve more forgiving flight characteristics. In addition, the rudder was activated. The first flight took place in early July 1923. Together with the SB 3 "Brockenhexe" built from the rubble of the SB 1, she took part in the Rhön competition.
