In 1920, Dr. Georg Hüffer bought the company from Gustav Schulze in Burg. In 1922, work began on the Hüffer-Flugzeugau Münster/Westphalia. Later, the Westfalenwerk Münster and the Paderborn shipyard were merged into it. In 1929, Georg Hüffer continued to build in Krefeld and after his death, Julius Hüffer took over the management of the company until the end of 1930, when the business went bankrupt due to sales difficulties (StA Münster). The Hüffer-Werke built airplanes and held theoretical and practical flying lessons on their school biplanes
