Type Werk.Nr Registration History
In 1928-29, August Kupper constructed the flying wing high-wing aircraft "Uhu" together with Dipl. Ing. Kennel at the Friedberg/Hessen Polytechnic.
The machine had a wingspan of 17.1m and was controlled by external elevons and endplate rudders.
The "Uhu" did not provide sufficient flight characteristics. Kupper later attempted to turn the airplane into a powered glider by slightly sweeping the wing back and installing a small motor. Here, too, the properties remained unsatisfactory.
