In the big family of Farman 190s and by-products, the Farman 390 was the most luxurious version. In its latest version
Farman 393, it was powered by a nine-cylinder  Farman 9Ecr 190 hp. It was built eleven copies from 1934.
One of them was even equipped for VIP transport and made available to the Technical Corps by the State.
German pictures show a Farman 393 among other elements of planes, along the sheds of Villacoublay. The crosses red on the fuselage sides were painted black, but it does not carry a cross swastika on the vertical empennage. Its quadripal wooden prop is broken, so it is almost certain that this plane never flew as well.
